The City of Pitt Meadows is seeking feedback on the addition of outdoor pickleball courts at the Pitt Meadows Athletic Park as part of the upcoming resurfacing.
As the popularity of both tennis and pickleball continues to rise, so does the need for facilities like these in our community. We need input from players on how best to support the growing demand for usage of the courts.
Last summer, temporary pickleball lines for six courts were painted on two of the four tennis courts to accommodate increased participation with shared use.
The existing racquet courts located at Pitt Meadows Athletic Park require resurfacing. The City of Pitt Meadows is considering several options for adding permanent pickleball lines and nets.
