Agricultural Plan Update

The City updated its Agricultural Viability Strategy in 2023 to provide a modernized direction in developing a sustainable, viable, and resilient local agriculture and agri-food sector. The updated strategy, Grown in Pitt Meadows: Our Agricultural Viability Strategy is now available at pittmeadows.ca/agriculture.

The City would like to thank the local agricultural community and residents for contributing their feedback and expertise throughout this project. A full history of the project's engagement process is available here.

    Grown in Pitt Meadows: Our Agricultural Viability Strategy (draft)

    The following is a short survey designed to collect feedback and input from the Pitt Meadows agriculture and food sector, as well as the general public, on the Grown in Pitt Meadows: Agricultural Viability Strategy (draft). Results from this survey will contribute to the final recommendations. A copy of the draft Strategy can be downloaded here.

    This survey is intended for those who work in the agriculture or agri-food sector or own a farm, including agri-food processing, food retail, or other food security-related organizations.

    This survey is intended for those who purchase food, whether locally or otherwise, and do not work in the agriculture or agri-food sector. If you work or own a business in the agriculture sector, please complete the other survey.
